The bypass cutting action delivers a clean and healthy cut for all general purpose pruning, with a cutting-growth of 2.5cm in diameter. The precision high carbon blades are heat treated to harden it, giving outstanding edge retention. It has a wire cutting notch which helps avoid damaging the blade if cutting wire, and a sap groove which directs sap away from the cutting edge reducing stickiness.
Suitable for medium to large hands, this secateur comes supplied with a blade tensioning tool which adjusts the squeeze needed to close the tool to be harder or softer, minimising strain. The handles are lightweight alloy making them easy to work with and the rubber cushion prevents jarring.
